Standing at the edge of the unknown, heart pounding, hands shaking, mind racing with a million what ifs.
I’m actually here right now—navigating the greatest transformation of my life through pregnancy—and it’s grueling. Every day feels like an emotional rollercoaster. Some days, I wake up hopeful and optimistic. Other days, I feel completely lost, like I’m being stripped of everything I thought I was.
What if I fail?
What if I’m not good enough?
What if this isn’t the right time?
What if I regret it?
But then there’s another voice. Softer, yet somehow stronger.
What if this changes everything?
What if I step into the life I was meant to live?
What if I finally break free?
Right before massive growth, resistance shows up the loudest. It tries to convince you to stay small, to stay safe. It whispers that you’re not ready yet.
But here’s what I’ve learned: you will never feel fully ready.
And you don’t need to be.
Surrendering to the Process
This pregnancy is forcing me to let go—of my old identity, of my plans, of the vision I thought I had for my future. Not to settle, but to make space for something even more magical to come flooding in.
It’s terrifying. It’s uncomfortable. And some days, it feels unbearable.
But the only thing that’s constant? I keep coming back to my practice.
Beyond the asanas, beyond the movement—yoga and sound healing have been my anchors. They have reminded me who I am when I forget. They have shown me that no matter how heavy things feel, I always have a choice: to keep going, to take the next step, to trust.
I fought hard to break free from a life that felt like a cage. To wake up every day and build a life that brings me fulfillment. And now, I get to share that with my child.
Not because life is suddenly easy, but because I have the tools to hold myself through the hard moments.

1. Acknowledge the Fear (But Don’t Let It Lead)
Fear isn’t the enemy. It’s actually proof that you’re stepping outside your comfort zone. Instead of trying to silence it, acknowledge it. Write down everything your fear is telling you. Then, challenge it. Ask yourself:
- Is this fear based on truth or just a story I’m telling myself?
- What’s the worst-case scenario? And if that happens, will I still be okay?
- What’s the best possible outcome?
Often, we spend so much time focusing on what could go wrong that we forget to consider what could go right.
2. Come Back to Your Anchor
When everything feels overwhelming, return to something that grounds you. Maybe it’s your breath. Maybe it’s a mantra. Maybe it’s a practice like yoga, sound healing, or journaling.
For me, it’s this: “Step by step, I keep going.”
Even when I want to quit. Even when I don’t know what’s next. I remind myself that I don’t need to have it all figured out—I just need to take the next step.
